WELCOME TO MY TEACHING PORTFOLIO
This teaching portfolio is a testament of the exceptional education and preparation for teaching Japanese Language that I have received in graduate school, where I earned my first advanced degree, Michigan State University Master of Arts in Foreign Language Teaching.

The curated collection of teaching and learning materials reflects my matriculation through the Master of Arts in Foreign Language Teaching program at Michigan State University. It reflects stages of my academic and pedagogical development as an early-career Japanese language teacher.
The Portfolio Format
This portfolio format divides topics into six categories: Credentials, Beliefs and Practices, Pedagogical Skills, Teacher Engagement with Research, Experiential Module Materials, and Other Materials. In the Other Materials category, I include a section on Program Development in addition to highlights of business and education collaborations through my nonprofit organization, Seedtime Multilingual, Inc. The Blog section shares thoughts of my continued growth and understanding of language teaching in the sociocultural contexts.
“One Teach, Two Learn.”
