Demystifying Dyslexia in the Foreign Language Classroom
The purpose of this Action Research was to discover ways to support students with dyslexia in the world language classroom. During the process of conducting the research, I narrate my personal journey teaching a student with dyslexia challenges. I share personal curriculum approaches, including episodes of my own success and failure. Also included in the paper is a “Frequently Asked Questions” based on questions that I believe other teachers may have. Below is the Teachers’ Questionnaire is an micro-example, a question/answer survey of my original questions, conducted with five responders. The Reflective Essay recounts the experience of completing the EM project.
